I always struggle with backgrounds because I always prefered to draw just my characters. But I am really liking what Kata's house is starting to look like.
I wanted the decadent city that they live in to be inspired in my own hometown: Sao Paulo, specially using the ABC region where I used to live that has some really depressing parts that inspired me for these sets. The idea is that the rich started to build housing in the air and that the subburbs would be buried under all that. Kata's apartment is one of the popular four floor apartments that are really commom in suburban areas in Sao Paulo.
